Ocean Park’s best kept secret is beginning to unfold. Today, the Park officially unveils the brand of the much anticipated Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong – Asia’s first and only year-round, all-weather seaside water park.

With the brand statement of “Splash into Adventure”, Water World invites everyone to go on an adventure of discovery, and immerse themselves into a mystical, hidden world at one with the wonders of water and nature.

Also unveiled today is the Water World logo, which encapsulates the water park’s truly unique topography and wondrous location as well as the surreal, thrilling experiences it will bring. The logo is represented by a stylised design of the sea and mountains, culminating in a bright smiling sun.

Water World Ocean Park is created for adventurers of all kinds. Whether they are young thrill seekers who love to test their limits or families wanting great bonding time, Water World promises a fun exploration filled with endless surprises and delights.

“Water World is set to bring out the adventurous spirit in all of us. With an architectural design that embraces the natural terrain, it gives adventurers the opportunity to take in the beauty that surrounds our Southern District. We’re so looking forward to welcoming everyone to Water World soon,” said Paulo Pong, Deputy Chairman, Ocean Park.

Water World Ocean Park also announced Manulife’s sponsorship of Horizon Cove, Hong Kong’s first all-weather indoor wave pool located at Hidden Village. “We are excited to introduce Manulife as the first major sponsor of Water World, which underpins the strong support received from our Hong Kong community towards this extraordinary addition to the city’s leisure and entertainment offerings,” added Pong.

Five zones filled with its own unique spirit of fun and adventure
Adventurers are invited to discover Water World’s five zones, each filled with its own unique spirit of fun and adventure, led by our guides. Within these five zones, there are 27 outdoor and indoor attractions, offering something special for everyone – from Hong Kong’s first ever surf rider, nine dynamic water slides to several areas specifically designed for our littlest adventurers.

The journey of exploration starts at Splendid Reef, an expansive open area right on the shores of the South China Sea. Our guides at the Water World Plaza will help adventurers prepare for their fun ahead across the different zones.

Adrenaline junkies can seek the rush of the wild twists and turns of the thrilling slides at Torrential River. For those who dare to take on more challenging moments, Thrill Valley will offer mind-blowing extreme slides and freefall experiences dropping adventurers from the mountain to the valley below.

For the more laid back seeking to relax under the sun, Adventure Coast will be a cosy choice to enjoy the sea breeze and refreshing bites.

The Hidden Village offers awe-inspiring excitement for adventurers of all ages, and includes the city’s first-ever all-weather indoor wave pool, Horizon Cove presented by Manulife.

First major sponsor Manulife presents Horizon Cove
Presented by Manulife, Horizon Cove wave pool gives everyone every flavour of the great deep blue ocean, from calm, lapping waves encountered on beach resorts, right up to powerful double diamond waves that surfers yearn for – the “ManulifeMOVE Wave”.

Damien Green, Chief Executive Officer, Manulife Hong Kong and Macau, said, “We are confident that Water World Ocean Park will be another iconic destination for locals and visitors alike. As the first major sponsor of Water World, we are looking forward to seeing residents enjoying its breath-taking features and facilities, and welcoming tourists once travel begins to return. For over 124 years, Manulife has been a staunch supporter for Hong Kong’s economic growth, and we firmly believe this strategic investment will provide a significant boost to Hong Kong’s tourism industry.

“Our sponsorship of Horizon Cove is in the spirit of our ManulifeMOVE programme, and symbolic of our commitment to encourage people to live active and healthy lifestyles. It offers people across Hong Kong a new, dynamic way to have fun while exercising, and is a fantastic new addition to our community.”

Horizon Cove can also play host to both day and night entertainment, such as concerts and events on the performance stage.

Happy to share that the Ocean Park Waterpark had received its Occupation Permit last week, no more hardhats and one step closer to its grand opening.
