Was at the soft opening of the park a couple of days ago... To be honest, not as impressed as I was with Motiongate's DreamWorks section. I would compare WB World to IMG worlds of adventure, except with better rides.
Unfortunately, WB World amalgamates the worst aspects of IMG and Motiongate and doesn't add much to lift itself above them. Rides were not inventive or new. For an official WB theme park, I expected more to be honest, especially given how much hype they've been making.
I have to warn people, this theme park is tiny. The props and facade of the fake buildings take up way too much space.. So much so that they don't even have space for photo ops with characters, resulting in people having to walk in front of cameras. The ceiling effect is nice with the sky, but it really makes it seem like the roof is about to fall on you.
Also, maybe they're not up yet, but there are no waiting times listed for any of the rides... If they were digital they'd be up by now. Operational efficiency is terrible. It takes people 5 minutes to get on the ride and takes them another 5 to get out of the ride. Parkas/shiela covers are provided to women as they get on the ride (not in the 5 minutes they wait for the carts). By the time they're done arguing with the ride operators because they don't want to wear the cover and then eventually wearing them, you'd have been sitting and locked in the ride for a good 5 minutes.
I go in detail with what I didn't like about the park, but when I left WB, I didn't have the same feeling as leaving DreamWorks... More work went into DreamWorks and it shows... Heck, they didn't even play the iconic Danny Elfman Batman theme in Gotham!
