Here's some updates from a few days ago.

  5. WB Abu Dhabi is scheduled to open 2018, but unofficially they are targeting a late-2017 opening. It's the exact opposite of Dubai Parks, announcing an early date and then opening late.

So not exactly part of Warner Bros but these two person magnetic pods will one day transport visitors quickly between parks and the airport.

Miral said that the system would be used to connect “current and future destinations" on Yas Island, and would eventually link to Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Mohamed Abdulla Al Zaabi, chief executive of Miral, said: “While we continue to build world-class destinations and *expand Yas Island, it is imperative that we are able to implement an urban transportation solution, which is not only *energy efficient but also adds another level of excitement to our visitors’ experiences".

Google Earth was updated again in March and there are now two structures visible.

Sadly, the images are not as sharp as previous ones but you can see buildings starting to take shape and pathways emerging across the site.
