Took this picture this morning. The construction has not yet started.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion is still under construction and well underway. It's a significant addition to the existing park and will form the largest land comprising of multiple sub-lands, Hogsmeade, Hogwarts and Diagon Alley. Attractions will include a wand battle show, interactive wand displays throughout the land akin to Universal's, a Hogwarts Express part transport ride/part simulator that takes you to a different part of the Wizarding World, and finally a coaster that travels through Hogwarts Castle and its grounds.
Still no news. Doesn’t like they’ve done anything yet, but maybe we’ll get an update in November as that’s when they first announced it last year.
I have reason to believe that something regarding Harry Potter might be revealed on the 25th of July, as that day marks the 5th anniversary of the theme park. They might reveal the groundbreaking date or also announce a targeted opening date for the new land. Happy to see more stuff being added to the park, it's one of my all time favorites
I reckon now that SeaWorld is opened they’re gonna focus on harry potter. Would be great if anyone shared some news though.
Any updates on harry potter?
