Trial operations for Wanda Harbin Cultural Tourism City's theme park began on April 30, 2017! The theme park is having its grand opening on June 30, 2017.
Here's two photos showing the practically completed theme park:

Wanda Harbin Cultural Tourism City's theme park, which is opening this June, will have a ride that includes two large flying theaters. The flying theaters use a "flight cinema simulator system" called HEXaFLITE® which was developed by the German company Simtec. This ride seems to be similar in concept to Disney's Soarin' ride and speaking of Disney, back in 2012 Screamscape suggested the potential that the technology behind the Flight of Passage ride opening soon at Pandora: The World of Avatar is also HEXaFLITE®. Can anyone confirm whether or not Disney did end up using HEXaFLITE® for their ride?
This isn't the first time a Wanda theme park has used a Simtec ride system. At the currently closed Wanda Movie Park in Wuhan, China, a motion simulator-type ride called "Power of Nature" was developed by Simtec and is shown in the video below:

I know I am not supposed to publish opinions without additional content here, but it's important that someone says this. These Wanda parks are terrible rip-offs of existing attractions, in the Harbin case of Ski Dubai. The ceiling color of the ski dome, the French-style houses, all copy and paste. Wanda has no story to tell and its theme parks lack uniqueness, creativity and identity. Wang Jianlin may built a few more, but eventually he will fail.
With less than three months until Wanda Harbin Cultural Tourism City's grand opening on June 30, 2017, I've compiled some recent photos showing the outdoor theme park and indoor ski resort that are both nearing completion:
