I know I am not supposed to publish opinions without additional content here, but it's important that someone says this. These Wanda parks are terrible rip-offs of existing attractions, in the Harbin case of Ski Dubai. The ceiling color of the ski dome, the French-style houses, all copy and paste. Wanda has no story to tell and its theme parks lack uniqueness, creativity and identity. Wang Jianlin may built a few more, but eventually he will fail.

With less than three months until Wanda Harbin Cultural Tourism City's grand opening on June 30, 2017, I've compiled some recent photos showing the outdoor theme park and indoor ski resort that are both nearing completion:

Wanda have begun construction of the 17th Wanda City Project – Urumqi Bainiao Lake Wanda City.
The*mega-size cultural tourism project is planned to open in 2021. The development will include*eco-friendly planning and design as well as*cultural elements relating to*Xinjiang. *Amusement facilities will include indoor and outdoor theme parks, an indoor aquarium (including an ocean animal show), an indoor water amusement park*and hotels.

Great news!

Wanda Group, one of China's largest business conglomerates, plans to open its third Wanda City in June, in its latest effort to venture into the leisure industry.

Harbin Wanda City, the largest recreation project in the country's Northeastern region, will include Russian-style theme park facilities, a movie theater and the world's largest indoor skiing and snow entertainment park spanning 1.5 square kilometers. The 40 billion yuan ($5.8 billion) development is Wanda's latest commitment to the country's booming leisure industry

By browsing through the web I found another Wanda theme park. It is indoor, but infact it is just an artwork from the "Sanderson Group" and it is located in Changbaishan. Here is the artwork:

I would say do Wanda Nanchang and if possible, if you go to the aquarium at Wanda Nanchang, please let me know if they have whale sharks and if so, how many. Thanks!
