Recently, the main structure of Chengdu Wanda Cultural Tourism City's "Flying Over Sichuan" flying theater building has been capped. Chengdu Wanda Cultural Tourism City opens in May 2020.

On the morning of June 26, the first truss of the steel roof structure of Chengdu Wanda Water and Snow Complex Project was hoisted, which also marked the official installation of the largest single roof system in the Chengdu Wanda Cultural Tourism City. It is expected that the entire water and snow complex roof steel structure will be fully installed by January 31 next year.

The Chengdu park is still moving forwards. It is however quite a way out of the city in a different town that I believe is a bit of a holiday destination in China. This park is way in the future though. 2019 at the earliest from what I remember.
