The grand opening of Chongqing Sunac Cultural Tourism City has been delayed again. Before the coronavirus it was supposed to open April 30, 2020. In March it was pushed to July 30, 2020. Now, the plan is for Sunac Water Park and Sunac Snow Park to both begin trial operations on August 6 and then the official opening of those two parks plus Sunac Ocean Park and Sunac Mall will be on August 26. The outdoor theme park, Sunac Land, will have its grand opening now on September 26, 2020, which is one week after the opening of Sunac Land in Chengdu, similarly to how the Sunac Lands in Wuxi and Guangzhou opened a week apart last year.









On July 10, two sea lions, Oscar and Sally, arrived at Sunac Ocean Park ahead of next month's opening
