Chongqing Sunac Cultural Tourism City is set to open in April 2020

Earlier this week construction began on the steel structure for the roof of Chongqing Wanda Cultural Tourism City's mall. The mall will include an aquarium, snow park, and waterpark. The mall will open in 2020 and eventually an outdoor theme park will be built behind the mall.

As of July 4 construction of Wanda Mall in Chongqing is fully underway. Wanda Mall will include an indoor snow park, waterpark, and ocean park (aquarium) and is part of Chongqing Wanda Cultural Tourism City which will also have an outdoor theme park across the street. Wanda Mall is scheduled to be fully open on April 30, 2020.

Intamin coaster track is now on site at Wanda Chongqing in China. Currently an unknown ride type although track colour is very similar to Soarin Dragon at Wanda Hefei.

Recent photos show that Wanda Chongqing Cultural Tourism City's preview center is completed but the indoor complex and outdoor theme park have yet to go vertical. Plans for Wanda Chongqing Cultural Tourism City include a waterpark, ocean park, snow park and outdoor theme park. The opening date is scheduled for 2020.
