Some of my favorite photos from opening day of Volcano Bay:

Despite Volcano Bay having had its official grand opening, the park is still incomplete with work still being done on some of the private cabanas, Kopiko Wai Winding River (the calmer lazy river) has yet to open and for a large portion of opening day rides including Krakatau Aqua Coaster were shut down. Construction work is still visiabible throughout the park with some areas closed off. In addition, some park-wide issues on opening day included bugs with the TapuTapu wearable band, the offsite parking, and the longer than hoped for ride lines despite the timed queues. All of this was at least somewhat expected considering the seemingly "premature" opening of the waterpark.

Volcano Bay had its press preview day today so lots of people were in the park but unfortunately, there was a huge storm this afternoon.

You can see how windy it was in the video too with chairs getting blown about and pool waves a little higher in some areas.
