I found this video, you can see the building site with a few attractions. Vialand should open in April 2013.

Vialand started to be constructed in September, 2011 with the joint venture of Via Grup and Gürsoy Grup; it will offer the first international mega theme park, show Centre and shopping Centre in Turkey as combined, Vialand construction is progressing rapidly in Eyüp, the heart Istanbul. Aiming to become the true address for entertainment and shopping, Vialand will be open for visitors in April, 23, 2013.

Vialand will contribute to the new and strong image of Turkey on a global scale, thus it will turn Istanbul into a very important Centre of attraction as a rising star with respect to the neighbouring regions such as the Middle East, the Balkans and the Caucasians. Having become an important, world class shopping and entertainment Centre, Istanbul will be in the same league with other world cities such as New York, London and Paris with Vialand, which will significantly boost this quality. A circulation of 30 million people within one year is expected to occur with this project. Vialand is also envisaged to increase the number of local and foreign tourists visiting Istanbul by 15 per cent.

Their website speaks about an opening as early as April 23, 2013! Can anyone confirm this? Any pictures of the site?
