Still absolutely disappointing that Universal Studios hasn't got this planned out or even started construction for that matter. You would think they planned to have this finished a year after minion land opened, since that was the planned release date and they were doing construction in that general area already. The craziest part is they literally could've started construction at the same time as the large Sentosa renovation where many shops were shut. Honestly, it kind of sucks to see USS lack of planning and also probably the worst universal theme park of them all, being the one with limited space, as well as how some of the animatronics on many rides just don't work anymore, as well as the annual pass to yet be unannounced. Seems like Genting isn't as good as Universal running the parks.
Please don't mock. That's not the point here. And It's always faster to build from scratch than from occupied plot of land.
Based on my previous interview for Universal Studios Singapore, the interviewer told us that the Malaysian food court located near the entrance will be demolished to make way for Super Nintendo World. Demolishing and building will take a long time (3 to 5 years depending on the speed of the contractor) so maybe 2029 is the estimated year of completion.
How do you know though?
SNW is set to open in 2029.
