  1. Bedfordshire MP talks about the project's approval and next steps moving forward for the surrounding area and the locals.

I've not posted for a while but now it's really happening! We are so excited.

  3. I'm almost certain that threre's a few more i's to dot and t's to cross for whatever immersive landwill replace Wizarding World which is why the 'Shrek' area is so vague. I really feel the park is one, big, unique e-ticket dark ride from being complete, and this would explain why. I really hope there's a Secret Life of Pets-style ride in the Paddington area. I love how that ride looks and I think a Paddington version in terms of scope and scale would be perfect.

That's a huge show building for a Shrek themed quick service lol. I just can't believe they would be SO vague with that section without there being a reason. I think it's either HP or LoTR and they aren't ready to reveal that or the contracts are not ironed out.

One of those is needed to anchor this park in my opinion. BTTF, Jurassic and Minions are all popular in the UK, but they won't hit the reported 8.5 million attendance and sell expensive hotel rooms with just that.

  5. The area in the top right has a clear connection to Shrek, the building of what I believe will be a QSR shows a striking, if not identical, resemblance to the Poison Apple Tavern from the franchise.

  6. The top section of land where there’s more water is phase two of the project.

The concept art is phase one, the main resort (however CityWalk isn't shown as it will be below the entrance area) is all in the field area that is in the lower section.

This is a large area that will be a similar size to Islands of Adventure.

  7. Just wondering how you think this layout fits on top of the current satellite maps, I have been trying to work out how it will fit, seems they will have to fill in a lot of the water.

Even though this concept art may not be final, I think this fan interpretation is the closest to what it will end up being

  9. Not convinced that's Shrek, all of the lands are vague but that one is SO deliberately vague, it screams we aren't ready for this land to even be guessable yet. The back show building doesn't even have a facade.

The BBC are reporting their source has told them Lord of The Rings will be featured as a replacement for Potter due to WB being unwilling to licence the IP so close to their own studio tour, could this be that?

  10. Starting at the entrance at the bottom and then going around clockwise the areas (at least for now) are likely:

    Hollywood (entrance)
    Paddington
    Back to the Future
    Jurassic World
    WaterWorld
    Shrek
    Minion Land
