Dubai Holding, Al Habbai revealed, was in discussion with Universal Studio to host a theme park in Dubailand.
“Dubai Holding is in discussion with Universal,” he said, without giving any details.

Good News once again! Dubai is now looking back into their Universal Studios project and have now shifted the project to the MBR (Muhammad Bin Rashid) City.

A bunch of Universal execs and Dubai businessmen were walked around Universal Studios Florida yesterday. This project is considered "on hold" publicly, but Universal is still making alterations to park plans in the event they agree to build the park.
