  1. Universal family entertainment centre? That sounds small.

The first component of the new project will focus on family tourism and will include a giant park capable of receiving 35m visitors, a family entertainment centre set up in collaboration with Universal Studios and hotel facilities.

Here's a video clip they shot back in April 2007

  5. Interesting. I believe the license has been issued to defunct Tatweer? Since Mohammed Bin Rashid Gardens is not part of the latter I wonder how that affects the licensing agreement.

  6. The sites license expired and is pending renewal or deletion

I wonder if they are still going to have the same plans of the rides that were planned for Universal Studios Dubailand back from 2008 and 2009. I heard that they were was going to be a Ghostbusters ride that was going to look like the Men in Black Alien attack ride System and that there was going to be a Men in Black Roller Coaster. Back in February 2009 there were plans that they were going to have three Sesame Street themed attractions which were going to be the Sesame Street 4-D Movie Magic from Universal Studios Japan, a carousel and theme stage show. I wonder if the cool King Kong Coaster will still be in the plans for the park, if they are still going to have it in Universal Studios Dubai.

Sesame Street Attractions article back from February 2009:
