It's time for another big Universal Studios Beijing update!
First, some new construction photos:
More significantly, we have a new look at the layout of the park's lands and a detailed layout of the park's "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade" area:
Based on everything that has been posted on this thread so far, my best guess for the identity of each of the areas is as follows:
Z1: Entrance Plaza/Hollywood
Z2: Jurassic World
Z3: WaterWorld
Z4: Kung Fu Panda
Z5: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade
Z6: Transformers
Z7: Minions plus additional IPs
Z8: Support Facilities, Warehouses, etc.
The white area in the center of the park is a lagoon.
Let's take a closer look at the layout for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade:
The light blue is what you have to pay attention to. Hogsmeade Village, Flight of the Hippogriff and the ride building for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey can all be clearly identified. This layout is nearly identical to the layouts of the the same areas at Universal's parks in Orlando, Hollywood, and Osaka.
Next, let's take a look at a different view of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade's layout:
The area is divided into three sections. The middle and biggest section is where Hogsmeade Village, Flight of the Hippogriff and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will be located. The two smaller sections on either side are designated for future expansions to the land. What could those future expansions be? Based on the size of the bottom section and its location relative to the rest of the land, I believe that section can fit the same roller coaster being built right now at Islands of Adventure in Orlando. As for the smaller expansion section at the top, it could potentially be the future train station for the Hogwarts Express train ride, but I don't know if the train could get around the park all the way over to the second planned theme park where Diagon Alley would likely be located.
Lastly, the environmental impact report was recently released for the river that just like Orlando will run through Universal Beijing Resort. Below is the layout and concept art of the river:
