  1. If they knew that the catwalks were needed during the design process, I'm really surprised they still went ahead and used this model. It really ruins the look and feel of the aviary.

    If they didn't know, then that was a major mess up.

    Halfway through the ride it looks like the ride was designed to be over water. Can anyone confirm this?

    The ugly platforms are already being put to use for ride evacuations. Despite the platforms, guests reportedly had to sit there for over 30 minutes before team members arrived and helped them disembark.

    CSEI Requirement for evacuation times. It's very different in China than other countries with the same ride track.

    That's exactly why it was put there. The requirements were different there and the catwalking and netting was required.
