If they knew that the catwalks were needed during the design process, I'm really surprised they still went ahead and used this model. It really ruins the look and feel of the aviary.
If they didn't know, then that was a major mess up.
Halfway through the ride it looks like the ride was designed to be over water. Can anyone confirm this?
The ugly platforms are already being put to use for ride evacuations. Despite the platforms, guests reportedly had to sit there for over 30 minutes before team members arrived and helped them disembark.

Absolutely love the looks at the new Beijing park. I can't help but feel a little disappointed at the Jurassic Flyers ride track. That platform that runs under the bottom of a majority of the ride feels like a major eyesore. Was it put in because there was no other way to provide a safe platform for potential evacuations? Anyone have insight on that? Super curious about it.
