Another major construction update today - thanks to Douyin there's more to share than can fit in a single post so check back later today or tomorrow for another update that includes Jurassic World Isla Nublar, WaterWorld, Hollywood, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

According to an article from today, the main structure of Universal Studios Beijing has been completed, and the stage of installation and commissioning of rides has been fully entered. The number of management personnel and construction workers onsite currently exceeds 20,000.

Here's a view of it from further down the resort's river, which already has a little water in it and the bridge crossing the river connects CityWalk to the theme park just like in Orlando



Once guests cross the bridge from CityWalk, they’ll see The Universal Studios Grand Hotel and walk under it into the theme park

These videos were originally posted on Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok) and then the screenshots were posted to Weibo (another Chinese social media platform). Instead of relying on screenshots posted to Weibo, I’ve gone straight to the source by downloading Douyin so now you can get even better updates of the park with the original sources referenced - this is just the tip of the iceberg there are plenty more amazing videos on Douyin and new ones are posted almost daily. I highly encourage you to watch the videos themselves which are all linked at the bottom of this post. Note that many of these images are unfortunately not the clearest because they are coming from videos designed for a phone screen.

In the middle of Minion Land is an indoor pier-like area themed to Super Silly Fun Land which has what appears to be a clone of Universal Studios Hollywood's Silly Swirly Fun Ride.
