Universal finally announced the Shrek 4-D replacement to be a minions villain con attraction named illumination’s villain con: minion blast

Universal just opened what might be their best Tribute Store yet. The new Universal Studios Monsters Tribute Store brings Frankenstein, Mummy, Dracula and the Werewolf all together for an amazing themed store experience.

Pokemon is/was definitely for Orlando and planned for Kidzone, while Zelda I believe is for IOA (either where Simbad was, possibly into where Poseidon is). You can match the building shapes to those around Kidzone and in relation to Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster (the Vekoma Roller Skater). Not sure if this is happening now as things keep changing because of Epic Universe and the pandemic so priorities might change.

Regarding Japan, the announcement was vague and I believe only mentioned a partnership and new experiences in the short term - so I guess things like shows, overlays of existing attractions etc. Knowing how Universal work though it wouldn't surprise me to see these plans adapted for Japan in the medium to long term though.

Are you sure that these plans are meant for Universal Orlando? The press conference I read from Universal states that these lands are going to Universal Japan.
