From what I have seen it looks like tons of places to sit and relax. What I think is so cool is this park in the middle acting almost like a retreat from the other worlds.

  2. Such a great point to bring up. I really enjoy getting the express pass. I know it’s so much more but not waiting in lines makes up for it. Universal did not offer it for Mario so I’m thinking they won’t have it at Epic right away.

That ship sailed a long time ago. Universal was the first to implement an extra-charge for their version of Fastpass. Yet you will always see Disney's detractors slam them for Genie+/Lightning Lanes while praising Universal. Go figure!

  4. Since there is only one entry/exit from each land, i.e. the portals, they must be there to double as access/crowd control. I hope they have planned well to avoid spillover lines outside the portals which will be unsightly and give the impression of overcrowding. It also feels like a potential fire hazard so I assume there are other exits that can be opened in case of emergencies.

Correct. I'm not sure if they are still using the virtual queue system but in Universal Hollywood they used it for Nintendo Land to control crowds there. I'm assuming they will be doing it for all their lands at Epic Universe.

  10. Wow, this has come a long way! Wasn't P&P Projects from the Netherlands involved, as well? I don't see their logo here.
