Looks like the perimeter fence has gone up for the expansion space. The white fence running between the trees and the car park looks similar to the model shown previously.

Tokyo Disney Resort plans ¥250bn expansion in bid to draw more visitorsSource: http://www.attractionsmanagement.com/detail.cfm?pagetype=detail&subject=news&codeID=325352According to Uenishi, ¥250bn (US$2.48bn, €2.2bn, £1.9bn) will be invested into Disney’s Tokyo properties over the course of the next five years, with the Beauty and the Beast attraction coming in Q1 2020 and the Frozen expansion coming in 2021 or later. An Alice in Wonderland attraction had also been touted in 2015, but that appears to have been scrapped.
Update on the Frozen attraction:

This is not all the development planned for both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Some items are still under consideration and information will be announced once they are determined. There is no mention of the “Frozen” port at Tokyo DisneySea (which will probably come at a later date). Further investment in both parks will continue after 2021.

Hey! First time poster/long time fan of your photos.
Any updates on if construction has begun yet at TDL or TDS?
We're looking at a trip next February and while I know nothing will be completed yet (we plan to be back in late 2018 for a joint Halloween/Christmas visit), I'm just curious what may be closed.
Cheers!
