  5. I much appreciate your comments and thoughts on this new attraction! Very interesting to hear from someone who understands Japanese. Domo arigato.......

That's very disappointing to hear that the attraction does not have that "Disney Magic" yet......maybe they will close it soon to make the improvements needed.

I guess on paper it is a fantastic concept that needs to be upgraded on site.

Especially the "Winter" scene and "Ballroom" scene are overly long with not too much to look at. The "Be My Guest" scene is in my opinion by far the best one, with a great buildup to a kinetic finale. The fact that it comes at the very beginning does not help with the ride's pacing though.

The huge capacity with 6 vehicles is very well choreographed and timed, but it requires huge empty floors. When there are few scenes and not too much going on, it leaves un underwhelming feeling unfortunately. The big dance at the end does not feel like the big pay-off. Smaller scenes where you are closer to the action like in Pooh's Honey Hunt or Mystic Manor would have been more engaging probably.

So I actually thought that was the case as well, that other people who think it’s underwhelming is because they didn’t understand the language. However, I guess much to your surprise, I am Japanese lol. So even though I could understand everything I just couldn’t get into the “Disney” feel on this ride. And yes, You are right, I could never imagine what exactly it will be like until I personally ride it myself.
But I still am hoping for them to improve some of the scenes on its grand opening.
Looking forward to chatting with all of you for Fantasy Springs and other projects,
    Philip

    Underwhelming Soft Opening

I really don’t know about this.
The highly anticipated Beauty and the Beast ride was abit underwhelming when the videos came out. The scenes are very stretched, and the lack of scenery/animatronics makes it unbearable to stay in one scene for too long. Especially the Something There scene. It was just Belle and the Beast. It took probably a minute and a half.
I am hoping this is because it’s just soft opening and later on they would include much more animatronics or things to look at.
