I walk through this area on most days and have seen a few men in hi vests and helmets inspect and survey the area, not sure if they have anything to with the London resort crew. Either way, I'm in two minds about this project. On the one hand, it'd be good for the economy and will likely reguvinate the area somewhat, its pretty exciting, I'll be honest. On the other hand, its a shame. The site that they want to build on is a beautiful area right by the thames with its marshes, a lovely place to get lost in, big enough to walk for hours if you please and feels very nutural and almost wild compared to other parks or natural areas. If this project does go through, I will miss this place and I'm many others too. North Kent in general already lacks accessible green space, so this is a massive blow, especially for an area named "Greenhithe".
