I can’t believe not a single theme park vlogger has posted an update on this construction. Who do we know in Japan that can go out there??

Updates from Japan are far and few between because people follow rules about not taking pictures and filming when told not to. The land itself does not have easy vantage points for pictures anyway as it is in a hole and there's no access around the area. Your best bet would be just to wait until Orlando construction ramps up more.
