The Premiere Theatre in Streets of America is coming down to make way for Star Wars Land.

This is it's location on the current DHS map, it is currently unnamed.

News from the Disney Shareholder Meeting today.

Of course, the world of Star Wars is vast and touches so many worlds of Disney. We’ve been eager for any new details about the upcoming Star Wars-themed lands being built at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, and Bob gave us fantastic news this morning: the groundbreaking for these Star Wars-themed lands will begin next month.

More rumors about how this attraction will look like in the future:

    1. Poe Dameron’s black X-wing fighter will greet guests at the 3rd entrance to Star Wars Land, although an Episode VIII feature to the fighter might make it different from what we know about it from The Force Awakens.
    2. Characters and creatures from Star Wars: Episode VIII will be featured in the park.
    3. The Falcon will be real, life sized, not scaled down at all, and sitting on top of a launch pad.

So there has been a few announcements today about what is closing at Hollywood Studios to make way for Star Wars Land. I can't find one source for all rumours but WDW News Today on Twitter have summed it up pretty well with this tweet.

So that everything at the back of Toy Story Mania and The Muppet Theatre including, the now closed, Studio Tour, Monsters Inc Meet and Greet and The Streets of America.

The big tease of what Disney has planned for “Star Wars” inside its theme parks continues 11 months before “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” flies into theaters.

Disney chief Bob Iger told Wall Street analysts that there’s “a fair amount of design and development (taking place by the company’s Imagineers) to greatly increase ‘Star Wars” presence in multiple locations around the world,” shortly after the Mouse House announced another strong financial quarter. “The plans are ambitious, so it’s going to take some time for them to be built and opened.”

While Iger said specific plans would be announced “later in 2015,” the executive already had announced “significant” plans for the franchise for which it paid George Lucas $4 billion in 2012. He also has said whatever new attractions are announced, they will be based on future films in the series, as well as its spinoffs. Several Disney parks currently include an updated version of the “Star Tours” attraction.

In a separate interview with Bloomberg Television, Iger said, “Fairly soon, I’m sure we’ll be ready to go public with some specifics. But it’s safe to say that you’ll see a lot more ‘Star Wars’ at Disney and at Disney parks in the near future.”

  8. Disney CEO Bob Iger said during an earnings call on Tuesday that the company is "developing designs for a far greater 'Star Wars' presence in the parks," according to multiple reports.

“When we grow ‘Star Wars'' presence, which we will do significantly, you will see better bets being made that will pay off for us than were made in the past,” Iger said, according to Variety.

Details of the expansion will not be revealed until next year.
