Do not worry, the project is in progress and it's happening, the team is improving the park's design.
I really hope so. This is the project that DPR Needs to secure it as the theme park capital of the UAE.
It’s all rumors, in November DXB will make an announcement about Six Flags and it will be all over the media. I have direct contact with them, it might be delayed a bit but its on going![]()

I have a direct contact to the developer and the project is not canceled.
https://www.thenational.ae/business/markets/dxb-entertainments-to-review-expansion-after-q2-loss-narrows-1.758280The company's board of directors has mandated management to "evaluate DXB Entertainments’ future development plans and capital deployment," the Dubai-listed firm said in a statement on Thursday. The review will cover expansion zones including Six Flags Dubai, its new theme park expected to open in 2019, to determine scope and timelines.
The photos posted seem to show some construction still going on. Another odd thing is the fact the Dubai park is still listed on Six Flags' website.

Do you see any ongoing construction?
