To be honest, I am very disappointed with the rides! They are mostly kids rides which you can find in Magic Planet and other entertainment kids areas in Dubai.

The wait is almost over! BOLLYWOOD PARKS™ Dubai is set to re-launch on 21st January 2021 with nine new and action-packed world-class rides, an authentic Bollywood themed shopping experience at the Bollywood Souq Bazaar, and a spectacular Indian food and beverage offering like never before, including the debut of its Namaste India restaurant.
The highly anticipated re-opening of the park will see the introduction of the world’s tallest swing ride, the Bollywood Skyflyer, that stands at an exhilarating 460-feet tall. The park will also re-open with additional fun-packed family rides and kids’ attractions that have been inspired by the vibrant Indian culture. These attractions include; Wheel of Stars, a 55-meter ferris wheel, Taxi No.1, an exciting 88-meter family rollercoaster inspired by Mumbai’s famous yellow-black cabs, and Rodeo Ki Sawari, an exhilarating family ride with triple spinning action that has been inspired by the traditional Indian Rodeo experience.

Hawa Hawai, a colourful family ride that simulates the sense of flying on a hang glider will also be a part of the park’s line up of new attractions, as well as Abraa Ka Dabraa, a fun-filled and mystical swinging Abra ride. The Mansoon Masti ride is a splash-tastic family attraction that will take its riders on a twirling and whirling monsoon adventure, and Tanga No. 13 will take riders on a magical trip around the Gateway of India in its ornately decorated horse-drawn carriages. The Rocket simulator is also new for 2021 and offers an adventurous space-shuttle themed tower ride for the kids.

Also, a major part of BOLLYWOOD PARKS™ Dubai’s expansion is the new Mela Junction, the home to the parks exciting new rides and one of its most unique and Instagrammable locations. The park’s food and beverage offering has also been updated to include an authentic Indian cuisine restaurant, Namaste India, as well as mouth-watering food and beverage experiences across the park, that will give guests the opportunity to discover and enjoy the delicious flavours of Indian street food.
Visitors will also be able to experience the buzz of Mumbai’s fantastical streets with the introduction of a new shopping destination, Bollywood Souq Bazaar, offering a wide selection of shops and stalls selling fashion and accessories, custom souvenirs, ethnic and handcrafted gifts, urban home decor and lifestyle merchandise sourced from India for a true and authentic Indian shopping experience.
Commenting on the re-opening and the launch of the new rides and attractions at BOLLYWOOD PARKS™ Dubai, Ahmad Hussain Bin Essa, Chief Operating Officer at DXB Entertainments said: “After extensive enhancements, the park has a whole new offering for 2021 that includes new food and beverage outlets, shopping experiences and world-record holding rides. The addition of the nine new and exciting rides will make the BOLLYWOOD PARKS™ Dubai experience a day out like no other. The Bollywood Skyflyer ride will be the new favourite of adrenaline-seekers, while the additional eight new family rides and kids’ attractions will bring to life the vibrant culture of India. Each new ride has been designed to give our guests an authentic and immersive experience which will transport them to the very heart of India, without having to leave Dubai. And the fun really doesn’t stop here as still to come for the park this year is the launch of the region’s first Wooden Coaster, the Bombay Express, which will earn the park another world-record title!”

Interestingly it looks like the RMC Goliath clone that also appears in the Six Flags Dubai concept art, at some point they switched to GCI for whatever reason, but intriguingly this makes it look like they switched after sending the rides from six flags to the other parks, which doesn’t make too much sense.

Thanks for letting me know that it's a star flyer. It looked like a drop tower due to its resemblance to Superman: Tower of Power. I was thinking that instead of building a PowerSplash, Mack Rides could open their first PowerLoop there. If you didn't know, Mack Rides announced that they will add a loop to their PowerSplash model, called the PowerLoop. Basically, it's a separate model but with a loop. It's the first water coaster ever to have an inversion.

Here's a video showcasing how the coaster would look like:

The ride currently being build is a StarFlyer, CGI Hybrid and a Mack SuperSplash at the Bollywood Park. Motion gate is receiving a Maurer Spinning and S&S FreeSpin.

There are in total 12 former Six Flags rides being relocated into the current parks, as mentioned in the financial report of Q1 2020. Suppose to open within the next 12 months. The remaining rides have not yet been announced/constructed.

  9. This is a starflyer attraction and not a drop tower. We can also see it in the Six Flags Dubai renders.

For NYSM, it's a spinning coaster, not the Mack launch coaster that goes to the entrance of the Six Flags Dubai park in the rendering. This one is not part of the current expansions but probably kept aside as a big ride in a next phase (let's remember that only 12 rides are now being installed at the current parks, out of the 26 they have in stock from the Six Flags project).
