I found a different version of the Environmental Impact Report of the project from June 2020. It not only contains new images of the layout but it also lists every ride, restaurant, store, show and interactive activity at the park.

Specifically with the rides it gives the popularity tier, thrill level, type, manufacturer, capacity (I believe in terms of how many guests can actually be on the ride at any given time), the approximate ride time duration, and descriptions. This information is especially significant because many of the rides, stores, shows, and restaurants at this park will likely be identical to The London Resort and/or Paramount Park in Incheon, Korea if either of those get built.

I will list the restaurants, stores, shows, and interactive activities in separate posts soon but for now let's get to the rides (note that the names are paraphrased from Chinese so they may not be fully accurate). Also keep in mind that none of this information is confirmed nor is it official. Also any of this could change or simply be inaccurate.

Not news, but it looks to me as though the water ride and studio/backlot section of this park are the same as in the London Resort. The water ride’s building is the exact shape as on the London Resort’s concept map, and the other section looks the same but flipped as the Studio in London.

According to the announcement of the land transaction results published by the Kunming Land and Mining Rights Trading Network, the land for cultural facilities at KCC2013-36, Wulong Street Office, Chenggong District, Kunming City, which was listed for sale today (May 29), was acquired by Kunming Xindu Investment Co., Ltd.

Obtained at a transaction reserve price of 418 million yuan. Compared with the content of the "Dianchi Tourism Paramount Kunming International Resort Theme Park Environmental Assessment Report" (the second time) released by the Dianchi National Tourism Resort Management Committee recently, the plot is of Kunming The first construction land for Ramon Theme Park.

According to the land transaction documents, the land for cultural facilities KCC2013-36 is located in the southwest of Wulong Sub-district Office, Chenggong District, Kunming City, belonging to the Dayu Division of Kunming Dianchi National Tourism Resort. The land area is 251286.42 square meters, or about 376.91 acres.

The second environmental assessment report of the project shows that the theme park of Paramount Kunming International Resort has a total land area of about 730 acres and a total construction area of 150,000 square meters.

Paramount Park Kunming has been planned for at least a year and a half and just this month the Environment Impact Report has been posted on the Kunming government website revealing the full plan for the park. This park will be located right near Dian Lake on land that currently has flat farm land and a small old village. The park will cost 4,988,523,400 Chinese Yuan and construction is scheduled to begin January 2021 with a completion date of June 2024.

The park is divided into six themed areas, plus a central lagoon:

Paramount Boulevard - the park's Hollywood-themed "main street" entrance area with stores and restaurants




Adventure City - features Paramount's action movies, such as Mission: Impossible and The Italian Job




Peanuts Town - based on the Peanuts comic strip which for some reason has a generic design in both the concept art and layout and is named "Wonderland" - also interesting to note is that the generic Wonderland design is also shown in concept art for Paramount Park Korea




Lost Kingdom - features the "Tomb Raider" franchise and includes a water ride that takes place on the "Motagua River" and a coaster named "Escape from Emerald Mountain"




Dinotopia - based on James Gurney's "Dinotopia" fantasy book series in which humans live in harmony alongside intelligent dinosaurs




Final Frontier - based on "Star Trek" in which guests are recruited to "boldly go to places where no park guests have gone before"
