This looks fast and fun - but was it just me, did the dinosaur/crocodile animatronic thing look like it wasn't working?

Captain Jack's Stunt Spectacular has been posted. Interesting to say the least. Check out the finale sequence at around 13 min.

A quick round up of facts from Shanghai Disneyland. I just liked the statistics about the potential customer base, really makes you realise the impact on the local economy and how this isn't just about the international market.
Now, Iger is looking at an income qualified audience within a three-and-a-half hour travel radius – be that by metro, bus, high-speed rail or car – of more than 300 million people.
“It would be as though the whole population of the United States could afford a ticket to Orlando and could get there within three-and-a-half hours,” said Iger.

Coaster101 posted this very detailed article for Pirates of the Caribean at Shanghai Disneyland showing the layout of the ride and how it is mechanically different from other POTC rides around the world which enables it to work as we have seen in the POV videos.
Ride layout shown from above during construction
the front and back of each boat is tethered to a bogie which is connected to a track hidden under the water. A metallic plate, or permanent magnet, is mounted to each bogie and interacts with electromagnets (LIMs or LSMs) to control the speed of the boat
Source: http://www.coaster101.com/2016/05/17/secrets-behind-shanghai-disneylands-pirates-caribbean/The POTC ride system actually shares a lot of similarities with Escape from Gringotts at Universal Studios Orlando. The ride vehicle in both Pirates and Gringotts has a rotational degree of freedom to point the guests in exactly the direction the show designers intend them to be at all times
There are once again tickets available for the 16th of June. Could this be because people are switching their originally booked ticket for 06/16 to a later date in fear of massive crowds? Or is SDL still releasing new tickets for this date? Looking at the 180 minutes waiting time for Tron during the last few trial operations and the not yet operational Roaring Rapids this seems like a huge mistake...

Hi, I'm visiting Shanghai Disney in September! Do we have any info yet on how early you can book dining and whether this will be available online? Also, are there any official shuttle buses from the airport? Thanks!
