The original pic is from a publicly available environment report, the transportation hub seems to have 4 stories on the ground and 2 basements.

This image shows it has roughly the same shape as what is shown on the Disney map.

I agree with you that transportation is very important as there are some ramps which lead underground, roads lead into the building etc. But there is also a huge amount of space for people waiting to pick up transport. Which leads me to believe maybe it is just for whoever is living/working in that building to pick up transport headed for some other location.

The building itself is huge - I counted at least 250 windows just from the ones visible on the map, and those are presumably all separate rooms. That's a bit too big to be a transport depot "only" or a fire engine depot "only". If it is a staff-only building, it's probably a large multi-purpose office building, with transportation being for staff ("cast members") to get to their jobs at the actual resort. (WDW have a similar facility in the form of the "Disney University"/"Magic Kingdom Cast Bus Station".)

third party hotel maybe

Literally the only picture I can find with that direction shown is this one but due to the unclear air you can't make much out. Looks a couple of story's high so far (if it is the right thing) and hotels are a good bet considering the location.

Looking at the map they look like some sort of transport depot given the number of turning/looped areas and roads seeming to end in buildings. Why include it in the map though? That is a little weird.

Please keep us updated on the hotels! I keep checking about 3-4 times a day.

I have the feeling they are updating the hotel sites at the moment....maybe bookings appear soon.
