An outdoor Spider-man rollercoaster? That makes no sense. It's Disney, not Six Flags... Your "friend" may be wrong about the theme...

I think the Spider-Man roller coaster will be in Tomorrowland. They already have there several areas dedicated to Marvel.

A close friend works at Disney Shanghai and shared the plans for Zootopia and the Spider-Man rollercoaster. It makes sense they would go for Marvel themed attractions, since Avengers is extremely popular in China.

One message was that the expansion of Shanghai Disneyland would be a class-A outdoor high-speed roller coaster with two launches and a variety of track elements. The other message was that the Zootopia ride in Shanghai Disneyland would be a FRV ride (which used to be used in MMRR)

Is one of these about bids for a new coaster and the other about the new darkride? (I can't read Chinese)
