For international travelled, I think tickets need to be purchased with their passport numbers
I figured it was technical with a park capacity of the magic kingdom at DW which i believe is close 100k? I assumed there wasn't a way it could have sold out every day
Yes, I think we realised that before, but I suppose we are concerned about whether Chinese people are able to make their bookings through Alitrip, which we can't because of the lack of a Chinese National ID number.
One other point - even when trying to book park tickets through Alitrip, it lets you select dates (because that comes before the part where you have to enter your national ID number) and you can't select the opening day (16th June), it only lets you select from 17th onwards. So that makes me think maybe 16th is already sold out.
Don't worry, this is a bug. According to the site, all tickets on all days are sold out, all the way up to September 2016 -- not even the Chinese are that fast!So has anybody gotten past the all tickets sold out on the Shanghai Disney site?
Now it seems the official hotel website doesn't let you book dates before 20th June. Before, it was letting me book right from 16th, but I was not able to pay (same issue as other users experienced), and after multiple attempts, it timed out

National ID Card is the Chinese ID sort of like a Drivers licence from what I can tell
At least you got payment
