No, you're not missing something....only the official website (i.e. not Alitrip) has an English version, but when you get past a certain point in the booking, it goes into all Chinese, even if you started the booking in English.

It's really annoying when you're on the English website and you go to book and it's all in Chinese

Now if you try to make a hotel booking on the official website in English, it redirects you to a page all in Chinese.....argh!!
