After a selection process, a contractor for SeaWorld Abu Dhabi has been selected.
As we originally posted in December 2016, it is being reported that SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will be a completely indoor theme park. This is similar to the developer's other two theme parks - Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Ferrari World.

Firms submit project management bids for SeaWorld Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi-based developer Miral has received proposals from consultants for the contract to provide project management services on its theme park on Yas IslandSources: https://www.meed.com/sectors/construction/firms-submit-project-management-bids-for-abu-dhabi-seaworld/5012386.article and http://meed.cms.emap.com/node/49807Seaworld said in February that its plans for building a theme park in the Middle East were advancing and that it had signed an agreement with a local partner without releasing details, and it is understood that consultants have already been engaged to work on the project.
Is this saying that the entire park will be indoors like Warner Bros. and IMG Worlds of Adventure or just some or all of the animal exhibits will be indoors like at the other SeaWorlds????

I calculated the approximate acreage of the land that has been designated for SeaWorld Abu Dhabi based on the maps and it came out to about 160 acres. In comparison, SeaWorld San Diego is 190 acres.
