Wang Tayi, general manager of Beijing International Resort Co. Ltd., recently said that Universal Beijing Resort's first phase is now complete and there will be an additional four phases. The second phase is planned to be completed in 2025. It has previously been reported that two additional hotels are already being planned so that could be part of phase 2. Other potential expansions for phase 2 include new attractions within Universal Studios, new restaurants and stores at CityWalk, and a waterpark.

If I had to argue against my own point it is unlikely they would make any part of a bridge out of wood, but they do only carry golf carts. I should have brought a drone with me and sent you the files. Thanks again, and as I said, I could be wrong and this be the end of a wooden rollercoaster. Frankly, that would make me more excited than a bridge for golf carts!
Thank you and yes if ever go back to Vidanta and bring your drone we would love to see photos of the construction progress and to any one who is reading this post if you are at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta we would love to see your photos of Vidanta World whether they taken from a drone, SkyDream, or the ground.

This video seems to be before the gondola stop by the KOS and the entrance to the park. They were pouring concrete foundations when I was there last. I was told this area was getting flooded but it doesn’t make sense looking at the elevations of walkways

Also there are plans for a new or widened golf bridge connecting the new estates to the existing resort

    Thank you Douglas!

Thank you I'm glad that you appreciate my posts! At the beginning of the video I thought it was showing Vidanta World's SkyDream station on the back right and the back left was the theme park so the person filming the video was standing north east of the newly built tennis courts on the north side of the Ameca River. Where are you thinking the video was taken from and which SkyDream station is that in the video?

I find it strange that a theme park partnered with BBC and Paramount has announced a generic dinosaur-themed area. Instead, they could have announced a dinosaur-themed area based on Walking with Dinosaurs (BBC) or Dinotopia (Paramount).

Since announcing the design of The London Resort in December 2019 (https://www.themeparx.com/the-london-resort-paramount-park-london/?p=20014#post20014), the north west corner of the Resort has always shown the same Dinotopia area that is planned for Paramount Park in Kunming. Now according to today’s announcement that same location will in fact be a dinosaur-themed area but it is not Dinotopia and all of the attractions are different except that both areas have a theater of the same size. The Dinotopia area planned for Paramount Park in Kunming includes a 1500 seat theater. Now The London Resort is saying that their dinosaur area will also have a 1500 seat theater. Is this a coincidence? A 1500 seat theater is not necessarily unusual though for a theme park. For example, the newly opened Fantasyland Forest Theatre at Tokyo Disneyland is also 1500 seats.

Was Dinotopia planned for The London Resort but switched for some reason? Was Dinotopia just a place holder? Could this “Base Camp” itself be a placeholder for Dinotopia? Does Paramount not want their intellectual properties being used to promote the Resort yet? If “Base Camp” is real, will it actually have BBC branding?

Here's concept art of Ocean Park Water World from 2015 showing various theming elements - it will be interesting to see if any of this theming is present at opening but at this point it seems unlikely:

Qatar’s latest largest leisure and entertainment hub, Doha Oasis Quest has chosen Levtech Consulting to introduce Microsoft Dynamics 365 in order to achieve operational excellence.

According to the company statement, this will enable the entertainment hub to offer an exceptional guest experience when they open towards the end of 2021.

Quest is a one-of-a-kind indoor destination with world-class rides and attractions never seen before in Qatar, and it will need technology to automate its business operations to provide smooth, uninterrupted service as part of its strategy.

Levtech’s team will deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 that will enable Quest to connect their physical and digital operations. The integrated ERP framework will provide actionable intelligence and provide a single view of the organization’s clients, activities, and financials, allowing management to make better decisions faster.

The scope of the project to be implemented by Levtech includes integration with a third-party POS and ticketing system specific to theme park operations, as per the statement.

“We have chosen Microsoft Dynamic 365, as it will help us scale, boost productivity, streamline efficiency and reduce costs. We look forward to a fruitful partnership with Levtech,” said Marcel Hendriks, General Manager at Doha Oasis Quest.
