I've not posted for a while but now it's really happening! We are so excited.

Things do seem to be moving on the site now, we expect a green light in the next month or so.

A digger has been on site the past few days clearing the wasteland of growth. It's the right time of year to do this but its been left untouched for the best part of 20 years so could this signal a beginning of the construction phase?

No detailed update today but the local MP did bring it up in parliament and it seems that discussions between Universal and the UK government are going well.

It's been a while, not a great deal is happening in the ground right bore but we are hoping to hear something soon.

Universal (through SC Collections Limited) have bought properties near the site (https://maps.app.goo.gl/9XCQvriQMGSGgbJQ8) and negotiations are ongoing to buy the rest of the properties on this stretch of road. One previous owner who sold was told their house would be used for workers, by representatives on behalf of Universal who conducted negotiations.
