Please don't mock. That's not the point here. And It's always faster to build from scratch than from occupied plot of land.

I've just seen that some subsidiaries or the whole group are restructuring which doesn't sound good. Perhaps Vinpearl from Vietnam could buy and finish it or perhaps another international group (Six Flags, United Parks & Resorts, Paramount, MGM)?
But this park seems abandoned currently! What a pity because it's a wonder! I hope it will open.
Hi, don't forget that in France we are constructing buildings in armed concrete.
Metallic structures filled with wood or plaster as used in the US are strictly forbidden for public buildings. Also, there is or was a big lack of construction materials and prices doubled.
Even if I'm angry at The Walt Disney Company, I'm considering that.
Interesting indeed! Did you see that background in expansion next to Ratatouille and Project Air are not existing yet, but copies of other Disney parks? For instance, in expansion next to Ratatouille it seems to be Radiator Springs Racers from California!
Yes, this is why we are very deceived in France ! Not only the delay but also the choices done which seems non-sense : another water attraction (Lion King) just near another one (Frozen) and absolutely nothing real new surface addition for Disneyland Paris first park, since 1995 !

Immersive themed accommodation.
In the medium term, the aim is also to develop a family holiday offering with themed and immersive accommodation.
Wave Island will undergo significant changes over the next few years as part of Parc Spirou's offering. This transformation will respect the values and expertise of Parc Spirou, which are strongly committed to visitors: quality of welcome, environmental commitment, safety, access to culture and family adventure in the world of comic strips.
The acquisition was made possible thanks to the collaboration of partner banks, shareholders, Média Participations, Editions Dupuis, LPS, Wikipark, the Sorgues du Comtat community of municipalities and the town halls of Monteux, Alérion and Ollyns.
"This acquisition is an important milestone for the two theme and water parks, which, by joining forces, will eventually create a genuine leisure destination in the south of France", says Hervé Lux, Managing Director of Parc Spirou Provence.
About Parc Spirou Provence (Média-Participations group)
Parc Spirou Provence is a family theme park located in the South-East of France near Avignon, in Monteux in the Vaucluse department which welcomes 320,000 visitors a year.
Parc Spirou is dedicated to the characters that appeared in the "Journal de Spirou" newspaper. It features famous heroes such as Spirou, the Marsupilamis, the Smurfs, Lucky Luke, Boule & Bill and Kid Paddle.
Since its opening in 2018, Parc Spirou Provence has become a major entertainment destination in the region and has already welcomed more than a million visitors.
It's just that in California there's already Disney's California Adventure, so they tried to have the same naming rule for "not-a-real-studio" park.

"A growing dynamic
Parc Spirou Provence has created a real dynamic among its visitors, some of whom have become loyal ambassadors over the years. The Season Pass allows enthusiasts to return at any time during the season to enjoy the attractions and events.
"We want families to be able to share their time together and get to know each other better". Hervé Lux, CEO Parc Spirou Provence.
With new activities and major investments every two or three years, the park's appeal continues unabated. Hervé Lux's ambition is to continue expanding the site: "The mix of traditional attractions that families love, such as the carousel, and thrill rides for the more adventurous, is essential. Land reserves are still available. The CEO and his teams are planning to create new play and leisure areas and have some big surprises in store for the public between now and 2024 - 2025."
