I am not talking about the 30min Disney Channel Special, I am wondering if there is also a big opening gala on TV, like they did for Hong Kong or Paris back in 1992 and if yes which Chinese national TV station it will be shown.

I hope for some channel like CCTV, maybe I can watch via satellite in Germany then. I remember when Hong Kong Disney opened I got the channel that aired the opening gala and watched live. So cool. Disney Channel Germany does not show the gala like in US - I hate that fact.

There are more effects still being tweaked. But the show's production and programming team is now back home in the U.S., so don't hold your breath.

Do you think the rockwork on the left and especially the right side of the castle will feature some kind of water element -- waterfall into castle moat? On some satellite pics that I saw, I could imagine this. What do you think? Would this create at least some kind of energy to the place? I hope so. Please turn it on.

If you look closely at the park map - you can spot 7 floats already. We saw 5 - opening and end unit - brave - finding nemo - toy story ...only two left - I think the parade could have been much better😕

Little disapointed with pictures I saw of the Daytime Parade. How many floats were there in total? I think the floats could have been built better and higher.

Early Entry / Magic Hours for Disney Resort Guests

    Hi @ all,

About early entry we have very different informations for now - there is no official information on the web site, but some people, including me, asked about this topic in the live chat - with very different statements from the chat people. Some told about 2 hours early entry for hotel guests, some chat agents denied early entry at all. I tried again yesterday and got the following reply (i think it will be different situation on opening day, but i am interested in the normal operating days, since i will visiting in august) :

I thnik i will not call again - i dont see reason for this - my tickets and hotel booking is viewable in my account, the lady on hotline also confirmed everything. Dont see the need for registration of my passport number since booking worked without it, and i also think it is only optional as Adam described here in the forum. Only what matters to me is the confirmation email i did not receive until now. How does it look? Can anyone tell me or post a picture of course with blacked out date, ticketnumber, barcode...I should be fine asnlong as i can view the tickets and print them by displaying them in my account page or?????

I'm now convinced that the only reason they provide the option to link your ticket to the government ID is for convenience. In this case, you don't actually have to produce a barcode, just show your government ID and then they will give you the ticket at the turnstiles. Of course that is not applicable for us non-Chinese, but I don't think it disadvantages us in any other way than we have to make sure to have the barcode with us (not sure if there will be WiFi at the turnstiles - will check).
Ok thinking the same, but not sure why the guy in chat forced me to call them again and link my passport number to my tickets. I dont get it. Did you receive email confirmation - thats what i am still missing, despite calling them on Sunday nigjt, they confirmed my tickets and i also can print them out so should be fine, but i dont understand why it is that impossible to resend confirmation email to me...the lady told she will resend within 24hrs bit even though nothing happened in my mail box lol

I think they are in desperate need of updating their website, now that bookings have started - people want to see some pictures of the different room types before making hotel reservations - at least some art of concept image or artwork - they could have done better in my opinion. Also more information on all shops and restaurants of disney town. Some word on Dining Reservations, Early Entry is also not provided yet. People get first in touch with their website and they now could be mor accurate, its okay that not every showtime or openimg hour is displayed now, bit some more generall information and updated pictures for hotel bookings they missed to present to interested people in time - bad managemnt of the web site departement in my opinion!

Yeah, i hope so - so that means park is open on some weekdays, for example when i go in august, already at 7am 😝

For the fountain...yeah i also thought it would like this

Also spoke with chat due to my problem with missing ticket confirmation email. The guy told that i have to call hotline again. While conversation i noticed that while ordering the tickets i wasnt able to put in my german passport number and left it blank...He admitted that there was some system error and that it now would work - AND that i have to call hotline and tell them to manually put in my passport number onto my ticket information...mhhhh? What do you think, anyone else had trouble with putting in passport number while order process? Do i better follow his advice and call them to do manually? Anyone else did not get email conformation for tickets yet?

Dining Reservations are possible 90 days prior to arrival only for Aurora, Lumiere Kitchen and Royal Banquett Hall mhhh....and Breakfast Hotel Option is not priced yet he told.
