LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort and Juneyao Air today announced a strategic partnership to explore a new "aviation + cultural tourism" model, launching a groundbreaking consumption scenario that deeply integrates theme parks with transportation hubs. The two parties jointly unveiled the world’s first LEGOLAND-themed aircraft. On that day, the iconic LEGOLAND character “DADA” made a lively appearance, inviting guests to embrace a summer adventure: “Join us at LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort for a summer journey where imagination builds and builds!"

With the official unveiling of the themed aircraft, the full-chain experience campaign jointly created by the two parties was also launched simultaneously. Guests can real-time query the dynamics of themed flights and make reservations through the "LEGOLAND" section on the Juneyao Air APP. In addition, the collaborative experience extends to the LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort, where the iconic ride "Junior Flight Academy" in the LEGO® City themed land is presented by Juneyao Air. Here, all aspiring kids and adults with a passion for flight can personally "pilot" playful and creative planes, experience the process of takeoff and landing, and enjoy the fun of soaring through the sky like real pilots!

"We know that indoor theme parks are very successful here. We know from our experience that an outdoor theme park would never work. You've seen Ferrari World, you've seen Warner Bros World, we have done it with SeaWorld, which by the way was a mission impossible," says Al Zaabi. "We know for sure that Disney will be hybrid, it will be indoor and outdoor. At this stage, it is too early to decide, but I reckon a good percentage of it will be indoor."

Interesting to see the current state of the Mat Blaster waterslide, which burned down in January. Some guests have been complaining that not all attractions are operational, such as one of the rivers, at least on certain days. Also, there's been complaints about the wave pool's low water level.
