The consultation period has only just begun, there will not be anything to show from it for a few months yet whilst they gather information. You can find out more here https://consultation.londonresort.info/ and also sign up for the consultation meetings online if you want to find out more. I will be attending one next week and will pass on anything I learn from it.

It is hard to say and honestly at the moment I wouldn't worry until you start seeing actual construction taking place.

I would forecast (based on other similar projects) that overall it will increase the house prices in the area - if it's built fully with park etc BUT it will also flood the housing market with lowish quality apartments from developers so if you have a larger house further on the housing ladder i.e. not a starter home you may find it more difficult to sell as the market will be more focussed towards smaller homes for rental and first time buyers. So totally depends on your home, what stage you intend to sell in and what actually gets built.

Overall the improved infrastructure should work in your favour but with COVID having an impact on people not commuting as much this might be less pronounced.

I am a local resident (Greenhithe, approx 1.5 miles from the site), and am a little worried that this will drive values down over the next few years as the parks construction gathers pace.

Ticiland is a new indoor theme park in Switzerland from a team of well known theme park professionals. It looks like it's due to open at the end of this year and construction is still ongoing.

Primarily aimed at a family target, content and details of Ticiland will be revealed in September. However, some attractions are already known.
As centerpieces, we found in particular a Force Two roller coaster, as well as a 14-meter drop tower, both from the German manufacturer Zierer . The essential carousels and other flying chairs are obviously part of the game.

Some more images from the opening of Mianying Fantawild park.

Mianyang Fantawild Oriental Painting Theme Park is jointly invested and built by Huaqiang Fantawild Group and Jiangyou Municipal People's Government. It is the first Fantawild theme park in Sichuan Province. The park covers an area of ??more than 600,000 square meters, with a total investment of more than 3 billion yuan.

On the day of the opening of the park, Mianyang Fantawild also held a special "Huafu Garden Festival". Hundreds of Hanfu fans showed up in the park. Under the background of the park’s antique buildings, the beauty of Hanfu’s elegance was fully demonstrated, which became an eye-catching landscape in the park on that day. On the evening of the opening of the park, Mianyang Fangte presented a gorgeous firework show for the majority of tourists. Merlin Entertainments are looking for an LEGOLAND Asia Project Development Finance Director which has this listed in the job description.

Initially this will be focussed mainly in Asia with live projects in Korea and Shenzhen (China), two imminent further projects in China (Chengdu and Shanghai), collectively representing circa £1.5bn investment over 4 years, with the possibility of more to follow.
Looks like we should see some movement on Shanghai soon.

There's a lot of information in this article as it's mainly about high housing prices in areas where promises are being made about improved infrastructure before those improvements are made but it also has info about the proposed park. Looks like this article was posted 8th June but I may be wrong as the translation isn't great...

The current situation of Qingyuan Chimelong site photographed by netizens

It is reported that the slow construction of Qingyuan Chimelong is closely related to the slow construction of Qingyuan Transportation. Qingyuan originally planned to have a maglev tour line. The line has Chimelong Theme Park Station, which is connected to Yinqing Station of Guangqing City Rail. However, as with the construction of the Guangqing City Rail, the construction cycle of this maglev line has been postponed repeatedly. The dedicated line, which was originally scheduled to open to traffic at the end of 2019, has not yet been clearly opened.

This map shows the land that the parent company, Oceanwide, purchased as part of a bigger project in the area. It includes the Atlantis site.

    Source: https://www.hawaiibusiness.com/big-plans/

This is interesting because work is continuing on the other land parcels at the top of the map and in the video below you can see some movement on the parcel of land marked which I think is the land marked as KO OLINA NUI. Not sure what is going on there, some trailers and cars or if its just parking for vehicles from other nearby land but if anyone is local can you confirm if there is work taking place on that land or if it is also not being worked on?

Mianyang Fantawild Oriental Theme Park in Sichuan, mentioned by Michael below, will be opening on July 18th! That's amazing progress given the disruption caused by coronavirus and the amount of work still to be done on those photos Michael posted.

I look forward to seeing photos from the open park.

Disney has officially delayed the Spaceship Earth overhaul project. As we reported earlier this summer, Disney was defunding construction projects, a fact that they admitted when discussing a nearly $1 billion savings due to cut refurbishment and construction projects.
As it turns out, our hunch was correct and Disney has CUT two significant projects from the EPCOT Experience video that previews upcoming projects for the park. As you can see in the video below from The Schmoofs YouTube channel, the Spaceship Earth AND Mary Poppins segments were cut from the video. The video only shows the transitions, but you can compare the segments to see the cuts. The removal of the segments likely hints at significant changes or a complete abandoning of the previously announced projects.
