On the other hand, its a shame. The site that they want to build on is a beautiful area right by the thames with its marshes, a lovely place to get lost in, big enough to walk for hours if you please and feels very nutural and almost wild compared to other parks or natural areas. If this project does go through, I will miss this place and I'm many others too. North Kent in general already lacks accessible green space, so this is a massive blow, especially for an area named "Greenhithe".
I agree, this project is very exciting and I’m pretty sure it will go ahead however you don’t need to be concerned about the lack of green space as much of the space will never be developed so there will be space for walks they may just be a bit shorter!

Is this park a family park or a kiddy park? The Hello Kitty franchise is usually aimed at a younger audience

Building on the ‘uk disneyland’ topic: it is not just LRCH that refer to the plans as the uks answer to Disneyland it’s everywhere in the news, if you simply search up: the London resort, most of the titles will be uk Disneyland or the uks answer to Disneyland and this is Extremely misleading as my freinds actually thought it was Disney that had proposed the plans and that they were very certain. I think that they should stop comparing it to Disneyland Paris as it’s similar very slightly but no similar enough to compare them both!

Ardman Animations actually pulled out the project now it’s just BBC, ITV and Paramount.

The DCO has been handed in to the UK government today, hopefully the plans will be approved! The government will decide on the adequacy of this project and at the end of a 28 day period we will here our news, of the plan gets rejected than I can expect that the London resort (LRCH) will probably stop and we will not here much from them from then. How ever if the plans are approved than we can expect more in depth details released around summer 2021 and a proper master plan released to the public by 2022.

This has been a long process nearly a decade so it would be great for everyone who has been tugging along for the whole journey to see this project reach the light at the end of the tunnel!

I also agree with comparing the resort with Disneyland Paris as Disneyland Paris is completely different.

Firstly the budget is nothing like Disneyland Paris.
Secondly the IP - Paramount owns little to nothing in popular IP and
    Thirdly - quality!

The team of the London resort are all financial based people and all of their rides will be imagined by outside companies such as legacy entertainment, I am sick of this company saying they are making a theme park. To be honest it’s more likely that it will end up like a blank shopping centre or small un-themed amusement park.

And finally to add on to the long list of negatives it simply has no financial backing, Disney has plenty but what does the resort have? Investors from a totally different country! Nether the less it would be brilliant to see this go ahead but what is there to actually talk about? There has been no public releases or proper progress for months even years other than some ever changing concept art!

Many have the apartments and hotels but no park after years, many have never even delivered the items that were sold....
I would also agree as there has been little to no progress on the actual park itself, only detailed descriptions of the hotels and facilities, to be honest the only person with experience in the theme park genre is PY Gerbeau however he is still a business man rather than an attractions person.

This project has been trudging along slowly and I thought it was finally picking up ground but in my opinion it’s just a money making exercise for people to invest in not knowing what they are really buying

Disney land Paris has recently announced a full castle refurbishment ready by the parks 30th anniversary before 2022 also Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast has recently been refurbished. This will also mean that it is likely that there will be a night time spectacular!

The land seems very small, I wonder how they will manage the crowds?

Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked before!

I live very locally and am very much in favour of the Resort, how confident are you guys that the Resort will actually go ahead given that it has been on the horizon for many years now?
I believe it will as the government has recognised it as a significant infrastructure project and an experienced CEO has been appointed. I hope this answered your question.

So themepark attractions are ranked, by fans, in a term of rated tickets, A is atmosphere attractions (Main Street travel cars) the all the way to E which is a major scale attraction like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Hope this helped to answer your question!

I believe that there are two possible scenarios, the first one is that there will be a third park or major attraction as can be seen at the original statement where there was an agreement that there shall be 3 major attractions by 2020 (they pushed back the deadline to 2039 now!). Or it could just be a case of utilising the space in WDS for new attractions or lands (there is space for about 4 new attractions or 3 E tickets). I hope this solved your problem

Disney has released information about a robot you can purchase at the new Marvel Avengers Campus in 2021.

I’ve heard the spider bots (as Disney Parks and Resorts call them) will be controlled via a remote control which will allow you to fight other bots, shoot lasers, and possibly activate interactive elements throughout the land.

The lands you suggest (other than Top Gun) seem to all be those from the other Paramount Parks such as Peanuts Land, Adventure City and Dinotopia.

This concept art was published around 2017 so should have been updated by now.

    Disneyland paris

So I heard that the overall expansion only uses around 1.5 billion euros of the 2 billion and I’ve also heard that the overall expansions will be finished by 2030 does this mean there could be some new rides for magic kingdom? What are your thoughts?

I don’t believe that the opening date will be Spring 2024 I don’t think we knew that it was in Easter, I don’t think that this proposal is realistic at least not in less than 4 years as documents haven’t even been submitted yet!

After viewing the video I am pretty sure not much progress has been made on the contents of the park as there was conflicting concept art which at points showed what we have seen recently then it goes and shows a similar looking park just with a massive lake! I don’t believe the resort will take off in 2024 but possibly 2025 as if they have not even started planning rides and entertainment venues then it will put them in a lot of trouble, I know this because I asked them if they started planning rides and they said they will start mid 2021

I believe that the lake show will be a mix of world of colour and illumiNations as in the concept art there is a small lake near the frozen land possibly storing themed floats and then the lake would have to be deep enough for the floats to go over and the pyrotechnics to rise up! I think Disney will be thinking about using fireworks and fountains to make the show more colourful and it is very likely that there will be projections from the mist! Quick question does any one know anything else about the show and when the show will debut?
