So what will be expected when the Wizarding World of Harry Potter officially opens on April?

The new themed land will include the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey motion-based simulator ride inside a replica of the Hogwarts castle. Forbidden Journey is generally considered to be one of the best rides in the amusement industry.

The family-friendly Flight of the Hippogriff by German-based Mack Rides will be slightly taller (50 feet), longer (1.300 feet) and faster (40 mph) than the Florida version of the roller coaster.

The Potter land in Florida featured the re-themed Dragon Challenge dueling twin-track roller coaster which won’t be replicated in California.

It seems there is no longer a mention of a theme park... (in connection with the previous post)

Morgan Parker, Dubai Holding's chief operating officer appointed last year to manage the colossal project, told the Bloomberg news wire the development will be scaled down from the original plan of one large shopping district and will now be built in stages, allowing the project to grow gradually over time, as demand and funding dictates.
The planned project will still have a total of 9.15 million square feet of retail space that will include a Rodeo Drive-like fashion district with street shops and traditional malls. Around 35 office buildings and 8,000 homes – including luxury and student accommodation – will also be part of the development that will help support the project’s shops and restaurants.
The development will also have a central station from where metro, tram, bus, and a free carbon-neutral electric shuttle would operate.

    More landscaping news...

More than 376 plant species have been sourced locally, and from Spain, Italy, Thailand, India and China to enhance the three theme parks and adjoining properties: motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Dubai together with Legoland Water Park.
So far, over 350 Washingtonia palms have been planted, with over 3,650 being tended to in the nursery.

Dubai Parks and Resorts has imported 14 eight-metre-tall olive trees ranging between the ages of 200 and 300 years from Italy. Sourced from various plantations in Tuscany as well as the South of Italy, they will find their new home at motiongate Dubai.

Wanda Group, as they are currently chasing a majority share of Legendary Entertainment, is rumored to be planning a Jurassic theme park on the Gold Coast.
The Wanda group has invested significantly on the Gold Coast, launching direct flights to Wuhan last year and financing the $970 million Jewel project in Surfers Paradise.

Wanda Group general manager Xie Hong last year exclusively revealed plans to the Bulletin to build a new theme park on the Gold Coast.

Disneyland will close a couple of attractions to make way for the construction of Star Wars Land.

10 attractions and eateries will close in January.

To build the new 14-acre "Star Wars" area, the park will permanently close Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland, Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue, Big Thunder Ranch petting zoo and Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree, starting Jan. 10.
Nearby attractions on the Rivers of America — mainly Fantasmic, the Mark Twain Riverboat, the Sailing Ship Columbia, the Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, the Disneyland Railroad and the Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes — will close temporarily.

Any sources regarding the remodeling of the park?
Latest news tells that work will commence in 2017 and will consist of two phases. There has been no mention of the removal of the theme park.
The recently evolved master plan is focused on providing visitors and residents with connectivity to the surrounding city, with seven modes of transportation: a network of 33 roads, 152,500 square metres of walkways and plazas, bicycle routes, availability of bus and shuttle services, metro and tramlines as well as gondola rides.

Certain issues might affect the progress of Legoland Korea. Impending delays are most likely due to corruption charges and "money embezzlement", as translated by Google. Investigations are currently held regarding this.

    I read it here:

Anyone who can translate the article to English better than Google?
