As part of phase one of Chimelong Qingyuan Forest Resort the Chimelong Forest Hot Spring Water Park has launched. It's comprised of over forty pools, including an indoor pool with advanced projections along the walls. Multiple animal exhibits are located throughout the springs, including macaws, toucans, meerkats, capybaras, and tortoises. The outdoor part of the springs are located along the exterior of the Chimelong Giraffe Castle Hotel. The original plan was for a large giraffe exhibit to be located there outside the hotel, but the giraffes were relocated away from the hotel.

Sun World Sầm Sơn's waterpark recently reopened for the season. Last year the waterpark opened without five of its planned waterslides: Snakehead Rapids, Crocodile Falls, Dueling Swordfishes, Great Serpent River, and Giant Octopus. This year, three of the five waterslides are now installed: Snakehead Rapids (pictured below), Crocodile Falls, and Dueling Swordfishes. Those three waterslides are no longer listed as "Coming Soon" on in-park signage.





The other two waterslides, Great Serpent River and Giant Octopus, have yet to be installed. Despite still being listed as "Coming Soon", I believe these two slides were moved and installed at Sun World Hà Nam's upcoming waterpark:

Huss Park Attractions, the German ride manufacturer, has supplied over 45 attractions to amusement parks in China over the last two decades. Two of the most recent additions are the family-friendly Giant aka King Kong at Fantasy Valley Xiangyang and the thrill ride Top Spin Suspended at Happy Valley Nanjing.

Wrath of the Yeti

Wrath of the Yeti is a HUSS® King Kong at OCT Fantasy Valley Xiangyang in China. The family ride is located in the Kunlun Fairyland-themed area and has proven popular with park guests, making it a hot spot for photos and check-ins.

One of the most successful HUSS® family rides, King Kong features interesting movements combined with a striking design and engaging special effects. The concept is inspired by the iconic King Kong movie, featuring a giant gorilla who appears to lift the ride gondola into the air.

The ride is actuated by a hydraulic system. Riders board the gondola on the floor, and then the giant King Kong figure begins to stand, lifting the gondola simultaneously. Once upright, he shakes the gondola, producing gentle swinging movements. Once the riders reach the head of King Kong, special effects include sound, mist, shining eyes and seat vibrators. With a capacity of up to 24 passengers, the entire structure reaches a maximum height of 12.7 meters, with a footprint of just 11.3 meters by 9.5 meters.

Perfect Storm

Meanwhile, Huss Park Attractions also supplied a Top Spin Suspended to OCT Happy Valley Nanjing in China. Called Perfect Storm, it can be found in the park’s Forest Mysterious Area.

The Top Spin is among the most popular offerings from Huss Park Attractions and can be found in amusement parks globally. The Top Spin Suspended model includes 38 seats configured in a back-to-back (B2B) arrangement, with each row facing the opposite way.

This state-of-the-art suspended seating setup delivers an exciting floorless gondola experience, enhancing the sensation of freedom. It enables different ride patterns, like pendulum movements of the gondola, circular rotations from any angle, abrupt turns upon releasing the drum brake, and multiple spins around its suspension axis. Top Spin Suspended also includes special effects.

Incheon Housing & City Development Corporation has announced that construction has started on Robot Land. The rendering included with the announcement shows what looks to be a rooftop waterpark, but it could be placeholder. As expected, no large scale theme park is present in the current design.
