This is a walkthrough video of Freaky Farm that I took, I apologize for the screams from me and my friends😭

I experienced Freaky Farm and the entire Halloween event yesterday, and here are some details and my thoughts, I also talked about potentially having a full HHN event next year with a Universal Creative team member and he mentioned this event's purpose is to see what people think about a HHN event and the results will be used to decide whether they will bring HHN to Beijing or not. He is a very nice gentleman and even ask me about my visits to other Universal Parks and HHN events, I had a lot of fun talking to him, anyway, here are my thoughts

Freaky Farm:
In order to enter Freaky Farm, you need to use the reservation system within the Universal app which will enable you to select a specific time slot for entering the maze. One account can reserve for 3 people, and you will be able to make another reservation once the first one is used or the time for the first reservation has already pass, there are NO standby lines like HHN in other parks.

The maze itself is really fun. It is themed as a farm occupied by evil spirits. The maze does not have a specific storyline; guests are just passing through different scenes on the farm. The maze is noticeably less intense than HHN, not a lot of bloody scenes are included, but there are still a lot of well hidden jump scares, and also water affects that literally blast a substantial amount of water right on to your face. My favorite scene was a small garden-looking area with moving bags hanging from trees and actors crawling out from the walls beside you. Overall the maze is a fun experience and definitely worth visiting.

Scare zone:
The only scare zone for this even is located at the Hollywood area of the park, which is the first themed land you enter once you are in the park. There are approximately 20-30 scare actors in the zone. The experience is similar to HHN, but there are no props or scenes in the scare zone, only the actors.

Opening:
The ceremony takes place in the Hollywood area around 6:30. The opening ceremony involves a person warning the guests about the Pumpkin Demon's return. Then, the giant pumpkin in the middle of the park opens up to reveal the Pumpkin Demon and his henchmen. The henchmen than walked in to the crowd and the event started, the giant pumpkin became a meet and greet area for the Pumpkin Demon.

Overall, based on my experience, the event is really great and a fun way to enjoy Halloween !
