An introduction to attractions in Bollywood Parks Dubai:

Construction plans have been delayed until 2017 due to consultations that are currently taking place, as mentioned in previous posts.

Plans to construct a $2bn Paramount theme park in north Kent have been delayed.

The park’s developer, London Resort Company Holdings has said it has delayed submitting its planning application until 2017 while consultations take place.

We had (previously) only stated that the Frozen attraction would be introduced some time after 2017 and this schedule has not changed. Because the development will be very large, we expect it to be some time after 2021," she (Umi Sugiwara, Oriental Land spokesperson) said.

Disney files patent for possible Avatar Land technology:

There's no clear indication in the patent that it's related to the Avatar expansion, but the patent, called User Interactive Living Organism s, describes "capacitive sensing to detect human interaction with living plants" and provide an experience that "may be an audio or video effect that is based on the type of user interaction such as whether the user touched the plant's leaf or stem" — so it's safe to say it may be Avatar.

News on the construction date:

According to earlier reports, construction was to begin in early 2017, with BIN Group as the developer.

DreamWorks' theme park, Dream Island, is scheduled to enter the construction stage later this year to be inaugurated in 2018.

Developed by the group Regiony, it is part of a larger project that also includes similar theme parks in Russia's other major cities St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg.

The new master plan is focused on providing visitors and residents with connectivity to the surrounding city, with seven modes of transportation: a network of 33 roads, 152,500 square metres of walkways and plazas, bicycle routes, availability of bus and shuttle services, metro and tramlines as well as gondola rides.

Filing for bankruptcy last September 2013, Adventure World Warsaw has now re-opened the construction site for negotiation.

Peter Jan Mulder, CEO of AWW is quoted:

Now we are negotiating the sale with a potential buyer, CMT, which is the project manager and designer, have re-opened the construction site to maintain the building permits and extend them. In the near future, if all goes well, we expect full-blown construction to be able to start. So if you ask me, the project is back on.
