Delays for SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, American Dream Mall opening.

Merlin Entertainment began filling the tanks at its SEA LIFE Aquarium at American Dream in February in anticipation of its April 23 opening. Then the coronavirus pandemic hit, the mega-mall was shuttered and the opening plans shelved. Now Merlin says that the aquarium and its Legoland Discovery Center won’t open until Spring 2021.
Sea Life will house more than 3,000 creatures in more than 10 interactive exhibits with a “City Under the Sea” theme. The aquarium will feature a 13-foot tall replica of the Empire ‘Skate’ Building, a play on the famous Manhattan hotel, the Whale-dorf Astoria, and more iconic buildings. Its largest tank will have various species of sharks, fish, rays and other sea creatures.

Legoland Discovery Center will have interactive educational experiences targeted to children between 3 and 10 years old. It will have a LEGO themed train ride, 4D cinema, LEGO building classes hosted by a Master Model Builder, MINILAND™ a LEGO re-creation of NJ and NYC landmarks and more .

There is speculation in this video about the inclusion of the Yoshi ride in Hollywood. Have we got confirmation anywhere of which rides we are expecting here?

I believe the parks themselves will be gated and single ticket but the external areas will be similar to how Disneyland Paris has the Disney Village area and like Universal has City Walk between the park gates themselves.

Fans of Steven Spielberg’s 1993 classic, rejoice. A real-life Jurassic Park is opening next year, complete with animatronic dinosaurs and themed lands. Watch out Universal, Rincón de la Victoria Dinosaur, and Zip Line Theme Park could soon be the premiere dinosaur theme park destination!

Mayor of Rinconero, Francisco Salado, said, “This theme park will be a tourist attraction with education elements based on the world of dinosaurs, where both large and small can actively enjoy their time.”

It looks like we may never see a second gate at HKDL.

The Government announced today (September 23) that while it continues to fully support the existing expansion plan for Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) despite the prevailing worldwide tourism downturn, the Government will not extend the option for Hongkong International Theme Parks Limited (HKITP) to purchase the site adjacent to HKDL at Penny's Bay (the Site), having taken into account the current economic conditions.
Under the Option Deed signed in 2000, HKITP, i.e. the joint venture company between the Government and the Walt Disney Company (TWDC) for the development and operation of HKDL, was granted the option to purchase the Site for HKDL's possible expansion. The Option will expire after September 24, 2020, if it is not extended upon agreement by the Government and TWDC. Consequent to the Government's decision, the right of HKITP to purchase the Site will not be extended.

Yes, it's the same ride format that they use for Ratatouille. Cars are dispatched together because the trackless vehicles move independently of each other so don't need to wait for the "previous" vehicle to be dispatched first. So you get a similar throughput as you would expect with an omni-mover but with the vehicles going in a single dispatch so the ride doesn't have to be linear and repetitive like a regular dark ride would be.

Ratatouille doesn't hit 60 per dispatch (off the top of my head it's 15 for DLP) but I would suspect it has a similar hourly throughput given what this ride looks like overall because Ratatouille is very linear and dispatches are very regular.

10 riders per car, 60 people per dispatch is massive. I guess Disney agreed to do OLC’s request to increase capacity on its rides moving forward. Frozen and Tangled I would think will have large capacity boats.
