Did I get that right? The actual breaking of the ground by construction workers happens 6 months after the groundbreaking ceremony? What did the ceremony celebrate then? I bet they didn't collect enough funds yet to finance construction of the park!

I will visit if this will be built. That's really exotic.
This is a ridiculously small water park for Singapore! It'd rather fit into a village in southern Thailand!
Been to Hong Kong Disneyland a few years back, liked it for its charm but I got really really bored after a few hours. This expansion is an awesome idea and I think it'll add exactly the right mix of attractions to the existing portfolio. Will come back once all is finished!
I can confirm first hand that nothing has changed in Dubailand since 2008, theme park wise. Whatever attraction is being announced, there is absolutely nothing happening on the ground.
I see few workers on all these pics, wonder if it still goes full steam ahead or if they are having budget issues that led to a slowdown...
