The Walt Disney Company and Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences, announced an agreement to create a landmark Disney theme park resort in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The waterfront resort will be located on Yas Island, a world-class destination for entertainment and leisure, connecting travelers from the Middle East and Africa, India, Asia, Europe, and beyond. This seventh Disney theme park resort will combine Disney’s iconic stories, characters and attractions with Abu Dhabi’s vibrant culture, stunning shorelines, and breathtaking architecture.

The new resort will be fully developed and built by Miral. Disney and its legendary Imagineers will lead creative design and operational oversight to provide a world-class experience. As anticipation builds, the final construction phase of LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort marks a major milestone towards opening a destination where imagination comes to life, brick by brick. The construction site is bustling with activities, and the overall project is in full swing for final optimization before completion. Park arch has been officially installed, marking another milestone in the park's construction.

The wonderful rides and attractions are gradually unveiling their mysterious veils. All 24 core rides are now in the commissioning stage for final pre-opening adjustments and are about to kick off a series of fun-filled adventures for tourists.

Currently the Resort’s exterior facades and paving work are concluding, showcasing vibrant brick inspired architecture that captures the playful spirit of LEGO creativity. A major milestone has also been reached with the completion and official handover of the highly anticipated LEGOLAND® Hotel, which will be a central hub for immersive family experiences and imaginative stays.

The preparatory work for the operation of the park has been progressing in an orderly manner. Before the trial operation begins, nearly 100 emergency drills are being conducted. RES RIDES AG, is thrilled to announce the opening of their SUPER SWING M20 at Gröna Lund, Parks and Resorts Scandinavia in Stockholm, Sweden. Gröna Lund named the ride Pumpen (The Pump) and opened to delighted thrill seeking crowds on 26 April. Currently, Shinsegae Hwaseong is deeply establishing a plan to develop Star Bay City, and plans to submit the plan to the city within the first half of this year.

The city plans to conduct a thorough review of the submitted plan, including inquiries from relevant departments and organizations, and then apply for approval of the development plan after consultation with Gyeonggi Province.
