Yes but no news or announcement.
It seems that the premursa web site is back up and running.
Where they present at the exhibition does any one know.
It is FITUR (tourism conference and exhibition) starting tomorrow in Madrid, so that would seem the best place to make an announcement. Hope so and hope it is positive.
Ominous that Premursa's ( the developer) website is "not available" three options
1 They are just up dating the website
2 They have gone bust or binned the project
3 They preparing for a major announcement about funds in place and commencement of work.
I hope with every finger and toe crossed that it is option 3!!
Premursa are still confident as they are still saying early 2015 start![]()
It is unbelievable the mess they have made trying to build and get operational an airport, they never negotiated the details of the closure of San Javier before they started to build Corvera. I think they thought the boom would last for ever and did not do appropriate planning or business modelling around what-if's.
Of the two projects which under pinned Corvera airport one is dead and Paramount Park is on life life support with the team considering pulling the plug as no investors yet..
Happy New Year!!
Looks like the airport won't come live that soon:

They are flying calibration flights into Corvera airport in preparation to open next Spring. Once this opening is announced it should unlock the Paramount project, fingers crossed.
The marker post shown is an underground pipeline taking Petrol/Distillate between Cartagena and the refinery at Puertollano.
The name on the post is Repsol so nothing to do with the theme park.
